An unusual plum purple colored vintage early 1960s nylon woven pouchy handbag purse with two short handles. This purse is woven and looped like the old vintage handmade pot holders.
This great fun colored vintage bag a small pouchy yet boxy shape with two short round corded handles. Even though they are short they are long enough to put this pocketbook on your shoulder.
The top of the bag closes with a brass zipper and along the edge is loops of the nylon corded fabric.
Woven vertical stripes decorate the front and back of this vintage handbag.
It is unlined.
The plum purple color is one of the hot fall colors according to the Pantone color chart. If you look close you see small threads of teal green.
I have had these bags before but never in this purple shade making it more unusual and great to carry if you do not want the same bag as everyone else.
It is 8" wide at the widest part and 7 1/2" high without the straps. Up to 5 1/2" wide on the sides so lots of stuff can go in it. Since it is not lined it gives more.
In very good barely used condition and a great addition to any vintage purse lovers collection.
